General information

Organization : Art In Haut-Bugey Association

Event : 3rd International Street Art Festival of Oyonnax

Place : Oyonnax / France

Categories

Each artist can compete in only one category :

• On the ground
• On panel

Kind of artworks

The artist can choose among 3 kinds of artworks :

• On the ground in 2D (dimensions according to your wishes)
• On the ground in 3D (dimensions according to your wishes)
• On canvas (200 cm x 120 cm)

Each artist will have the possibility to compete with only one artwork in one kind of artwork.

When you applied online you indicated the kind and size of your artwork. These one can't be modified.

The Association will not adapt neither the kind nor the size of the artwork (ex : no change of the size, no cut, etc...).

Place of the artworks

When the artist will arrive, the organisation will give him the place where he will realize his artwork. This place can't be changed.

Artists arrival

Artists have to arrive :

• Either on 18th June during the day at International Geneva Airport. They will then be able to use the shuttle Airport/Oyonnax managed by our volunteers
• Or on 18th June between 5PM and 8PM by their own at the General Commissariat of the festival
• Or on 19th June à 9AM by their own at General Commissariat of the festival

Other airports and railways are not taken in charge by our volunteers.

Artists departure

Artists have to leave :

• Either on 21st June starting from 5PM by their own
• Or on 22nd July by their own
• Or on 22nd July from the International Airport of Geneva. They will then be able to use the shuttle Airport/Oyonnax managed by our volunteers

Other airports and railways are not taken in charge by our volunteers.

Welcoming kit

Each artist will receive a welcoming kit including a festival tshirt.

Accommodation

Artists can be taken in charge by our Association in hotel or B&B.

The place for accommodation is decided by the Association itself.

Meals

Breakfasts, lunches and dinners will be offered by accommodation location.

Participation in artists' expenses

The association will participate in the artists' fees according to a scale. This amount is communicated to the artist in the email accompanying this document.

This financial contribution will be given to the artist on Sunday June 21st at the end of the day.

Prices

The 3 winners of each category will receive a diploma.

Prices for artworks on the ground are :

• 1st price : 150 €
• 2nd price : 100 €
• 3rd price : 50 €
• 4th price : 40 €
• 5th price : 30 €
• 6th price : 25 €
• 7th price : 20 €

Prices for artworks on panels are :

• 1st price : 0 €
• 2nd price : 0 €
• 3rd price : 0 €

Participation in the auction

Each participant competing in the category "on panels" has the opportunity to sell his artwork at the auction organized by the association at the end of the festival. The proceeds of the auction will be distributed as follow : 50% for the artist, 50% for the association. By default, the artist is considered as participating in the auction. In case of refusal of participation the artist must inform as soon as possible the organization of the festival : contact@artinhautbugey.fr

Terms of withdrawal

Each pre-selected participant who has confirmed their participation is deemed to participate in the Festival. In case of cancellation, the participant must inform the association by email as soon as possible. In case of cancellation by the artist, the financial participation of the Association will not be paid.

Delay

In case of late arrival, if the artist did not show up at the General Commissariat of the festival no later than Friday, June 19th at 12AM, he will be considered as cancelled. He will no longer be able to participate in the festival and will not receive any financial contribution from the Association.

Presence on the festival

The festival emphasizes the character of "realization of artworks in live", the artist agrees to be present on the festival during the opening hours of it. In case of unjustified absence of the festival, the organization reserves the right to cancel the participation of the artist in the contest. This cancellation will take effect immediately and will result in the cancellation of the financial participation of the Association.

Direction of the festival

The organization of the festival involves a large number of partners and volunteers who may or may not wear a festival tshirt. Also, the artist agrees to follow only the recommendations and instructions of people wearing an "ORGANIZATION" tshirt.

General Commissariat

The General Commissariat will be opened during the opening hours of the festival. Each artist will have to go to the General Commissariat for all requests relating to the festival and its organization.
